Via his Twitter account, Capcom explained that, at the moment, they do not intend to throw physical copies of all these games for the new generation of consoles, but those who have physical versions of ps4 or xbox one , you will also be eligible for this free update.
The answer of Capcom leaves the door open so that, in the future, we can have physical versions of these games for ps5 and series x | s. but at least for now, we will have to settle for playing them Digitally or by doing the upgrade directly from our discs of PS4 or Xbox One.
Editor's note: It is certainly a discouraging news for those who hoped to have these games physically natively for some of these new consoles. At least the physical versions of PS4 and Xbox One will be compatible with Upgrade, but we will see if Capcom decides to change your plans in the future.
