Remake of Resident Evil 3 has sold five million copies around the world

Capcom has updated the sales figures of Remake of Resident Evil 3. The Japanese company has explained that "the digital promotion strategy that incorporated price measures and a focus on sales of the PC version" have been key so that Survival Horror has reached five million copies around the world. Despite having been published last year, Resident Evil Village has easily exceeded resident Evil 3 sales, standing in the tenth position of the best-selling video games by Capcom throughout his history. The most successful, however, are still Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The first has reached 9.3 million copies, while the second has exceeded ten million and is the most successful title of the franchise to date.
